In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Hilltop’s 4th graders had the opportunity to visit our new neighbors at Sparrow House Outreach. Students learned about the realities of homelessness, the challenges of carrying all of one’s belongings throughout the day, and the many ways we can make a difference—whether by donating gently used clothing and snacks or helping prepare hot meals that are delivered to Newark. Stay tuned after the holidays for more information about our upcoming school-wide service project in support of Sparrow House Outreach!
