Hilltop Schools' 4th graders completed a cross-curricular project that incorporated writing, math, and art.  Students were tasked with creating a snowman, where they had to assemble it in pieces using a budget.  The hat, buttons, accessories, and such all were given a purchase value to adhere to, and students composed their design within the budget.

Using their snowmen, students next had to write a persuasive ad for the skills their snowman could accomplish, enticing you to want their snowmen.  Some of the feats included shoveling your driveway, making you laugh, making meals, and cleaning the house.

Upon publishing on their computers, students drew their snowmen and they are displayed throughout their hallway.  They are a testament to the collaboration and teamwork of the 4th-grade teachers and the creativity of our students.
