Accessibility for all!

Mrs. Heuer's 7th grade Information, Communication, and Technology students are designing and constructing an adaptive video game controller for an individual with a physical disability.  Some examples of these limitations included use of only their legs and feet, limited in fine motor abilities with a single hand, and head mobility only.  The students are using a closed-circuit device called a Makey Makey to make enable the controller to function.

The game controllers will connect to the Bloxel video games they previously designed and created. The students are currently testing out different prototypes and then will choose the one that works best to make a final build. Stay tuned to see their final products!
