Festival of the Arts

Mendham Borough School District celebrated the creativity, dedication, and accomplishments of its students during the annual Festival of the Arts on May 28. The event highlighted student achievement across multiple artistic disciplines, providing families and community members with an opportunity to experience the vibrant arts program.

Throughout the afternoon, students shared their talents through a variety of musical performances, including vocal selections, instrumental solos and ensembles, dance performances, and cultural presentations. Student artists also displayed their visual work throughout the hallways of the Mountain View Middle School and Hilltop Elementary School.

The Festival of the Arts reflects the important role that arts education plays in fostering student growth. These experiences help students build skills that support success both in and out of the classroom.

“The Festival of the Arts is one of our favorite traditions because it provides students with an opportunity to share their passions and talents with our school community,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mitzi Morillo. “We are proud of the work the students have accomplished throughout the year and grateful to our talented teachers who inspire and support them every day.”

The Board of Education and district administration continue to support arts education as an essential component of a well-rounded educational experience for all students and look forward to hosting this event next year at the new Mendham Borough School District Performing Arts Center, approved by the community in the January 2025 bond referendum.
