This week, Hilltop’s 4th graders participated in King Arthur Baking Company’s Bake for Good Program (BFG). Their outreach program allows children to learn, bake, and share their baked goods as an act of kindness using the power of baking to make a difference. Students learned that combining math, science, reading, and baking know-how, adds up to delicious bread! We even had two chefs model the baking for their classmates!
Following the presentation, each 4th grader received a Baking Kit which included all ingredients needed to bake two loaves of bread. After baking, students shared half of their baked goods as an act of kindness to the Market Street Mission in Morristown.
