Our latest character education pillar is perseverance. Students will be reading the book, "After the Fall," written by Ron Santat. The focus of the book is what happened to Humpty Dumpty after his fall from the wall and how her persevered. As your child how the story ends!
We will also be having our second whole school meeting about PERSEVERANCE in February. The meeting will be led by some of our 4th graders who have already been meeting to plan for the special event.
Look for ways you can help your child understand how they have or can persevere. Finding small examples of when they keep trying will help to reinforce that we all persevere through challenges.
