Third graders took part in a Family Treasures Celebration, where they showcased the history and heritage of their families through personal projects. Each student worked diligently on a Family Treasures Project, exploring their family's roots and stories. The projects featured a variety of creative displays, including detailed family trees, cherished photographs, maps, flags, recipe cards, and other special artifacts passed down through generations. This hands-on experience complemented the students' Social Studies curriculum, deepening their understanding of history while celebrating the diverse and meaningful traditions that shape their family backgrounds.
