WELCOME TO THE SIXTH GRADE
Core team:
Sixth grade students are considered true “middle-schoolers” now that they have a full year of experience with changing classes, managing lockers, and bringing Chromebooks and other materials to all of their classes.
The 6th grade team reinforces these procedures while setting additional expectations in the areas of independence, collaboration, and goal-setting. Our hope is that all students will leave 6th grade as self-reliant learners who can confidently identify and communicate difficulties they may face along their educational journey, take pride in their successes, and reflect on challenges as opportunities for growth.

Committed to offering students varied learning experiences, all sixth graders are enrolled in Physical Education, foreign language (Spanish or Chinese), visual, industrial, and performing arts, and technology courses.
