During the month of September, Sra. Weinpel’s fifth and seventh grade Spanish classes have been learning about cultural awareness and how differences make us stronger. Students celebrated the Hispanic Heritage month by learning about Hispanics who have made important contributions to the United States and around the world. By reflecting on their own cultural backgrounds, students also learned about themselves and the diverse experiences of their peers.
