To provide for the social, emotional and physical health needs of our students and cultivate a positive, safe school environment that promotes high levels of connection, engagement and overall well-being throughout our district a Student Wellness Committee was established. The purpose of our District Student Wellness Committee is to continuously assess current supports on all aspects of student wellness services, to promote the link between health, safety, and academics, and to assist students, staff and parents as needed in the area of student (physical, social, emotional) health through the use of research-based best practices and the integration of NJ Social and Emotional Learning Competencies and Sub-competencies across grades and content areas.
