Walk and Roll

The HSA Green Initiatives Committee is kicking off their walk to school campaign on Friday, September 13. Meet friends in your neighborhood or at the gazebo and make your own walking school bus.  We usually depart around 8:15 for the school.

Green Team Initiatives

Green Team is collecting items that can't be recycled from home but CAN BE RECYCLED. Please send in used up markers, pens, mechanical pencils, caps, as well as beauty products such as shampoo, conditioner and hair products bottles, makeup packaging, soap dispensers, body wash, and lotion dispensers.

Box Tops & Labels for Education

  • We are in the process of planning our next Box Tops and Labels for Education competitions:
    • Keep clipping Box Tops and Labels to earn free money for our schools. Collect Box Tops and Labels from your neighbors, relatives, and family friends!
      • What to clip:
        • Campbell’s Labels for Education can be found on their soups and other products as well as items like Pepperidge Farm, Pop Secrets popcorn and more.
        • Box Tops can be found on hundreds of products you buy everyday, including General Mills cereals, Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, Kleenex tissues and many, many more products.
        • Please make sure your Box Tops have not expired before you submit them.
      • Where to submit:
      • Collection boxes are in the front office at Mountain View and on the HSA table at Hilltop.
      • The Box Tops you clip should be counted in packages of 50; and the Labels for Education you clip should be counted in packages of 50. Please be sure to include your student's name, grade and teacher before turning in your collection.
    • With just a clip away:
      • You can help pay for school supplies and equipment as well as some of the great enrichment activities that happen throughout the year.
      • If every child brings in a baggie of 50 Box Tops, that’s nearly $3,000 that goes directly to Hilltop and Mountain View!

  • As always, thank you for your support!
