The staff and students of Mountain View School in Mendham Borough have been selected as a School to Watch for a second consecutive re-designation, the only school in New Jersey to have earned this prestigious award three times.
The Student Council at Mt. View is open to all students in grades 5-8. Please join if you are interested in being a school leader and can commit to the meetings/activities. Our Starry Night Event for 5th & 6th graders has been postponed to Thursday, Oct. 2 in hopes of a more clear sky. Please join us at Mt. View that evening from 6:30 to 9 PM for an out-of-this-world night full of stargazing and learning to navigate the night sky!

Some studies suggest that exposure to violence in the media increases the chances that children will behave more aggressively, experience more anger and hostility, think more about aggression and violence, and become “numb” to images of violence.
